Foundation groundworks three bedroom house, Newdigate, Surrey

Building foundations are a critical element of any project. We were hired to provide the excavation and foundation construction services for a three-bedroom house in Newdigate, Surrey.

The project involved site preparation and digging the 600m wide x 2m deep trench footings. After pouring and curing the concrete, we laid concrete blocks up to the damp course and installed the beam and block floor.

The advantages of beam and block flooring include good noise reduction and fire, damp and rot resisting properties and suitability for underfloor heating systems.
